If you are considering a Minority Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) Certification, want to learn more about the process, or are certified and want to learn about program updates to ensure you are taking full advantage of your certification, you don’t want to miss this informative session.
Kate Baker, Director, NYS Small Business Development Center at the University at Albany will be the Women in Leadership Series Presenter. Kate is responsible for leading the Small Business Development Center in its efforts to support the small business community of the Capital Region. The center offers current and future entrepreneurs no-cost one-on-one business consulting services tailored to meet the needs of each client. Kate is a local expert on NYS MWBE certification and has been helping women entrepreneurs complete the certification process for nearly 15 years.
Representatives from CAP COM Federal Credit Union, the Event Sponsor, will also be on the call to offer options on credit union resources available to MWBE certified businesses and answer any questions.
